S&C Select Six – PARTYNEXTDOOR’s Top Collabs
PARTYNEXTDOOR is one of the most talented artists of our generation. Diddy has even gone as far to say as he is “the best writer that’s out there right now.”
He certainly has an impressive resume, writing for superstars such as Rihanna, Drake, Jay-Z, and Travis Scott – and producing for the likes of Post Malone, DJ Khaled, Big Sean, and Ty Dolla Sign.
Then there’s his solo material, like 2020’s Partymobile – his second consecutive top-10 album. To say we’re buzzing to have PND at S&C Festival 2021 is an understatement.
For this S&C Select Six, we bring you PND’s top collabs with some of the biggest names in music around the world. Enjoy.
1. Recognize (ft. Drake)
Released as the third single off his debut full-length album, PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO, back in 2014. Since then, the video has reached nearly 200m views on YouTube and is the first of many serious hits with fellow Canadian superstar Drake (whose label Ovo Sound signed PND as their first artist).
2. Come And See Me (ft. Drake)
Did you know that this tune has more than double the number of streams than Party’s next biggest tune?! It is an absolute MONSTER – and the music video features Big Sean, Jhene Aiko and Kylie Jenner, obviously, just for good measure.
3. Still Got Time (with ZAYN)
This has been PND’s only collab with a UK artist to date – but hopefully bringing him back over to England for the first time since 2018 (when he last performed on our home soil) may change that… keep your eyes peeled!
4. BELIEVE IT (ft. Rihanna)
One of the biggest tunes of 2020, not least because it was the first time Rihanna had dropped new music in over 3 years! It’s hard to believe that we’ve not been able to hear this tune in a club since they released it last March – them good times are coming though, stay strong…
5. Excitement (ft. Trippie Redd)
This exciting collab combines the sounds of PND with rockstar rapper Trippie Redd. The production on this one is insane, and we can’t wait to hear this blasted out on the big speakers at our Main Stage. It’s gonna be mad.
6. TWIST & TURN (with Drake and Popcaan)
This one is for the #culture. In terms of streams and views, it doesn't compete with the other 5 in our list – but as summer anthems go, this is the one! This one is going to be Crazy - ee - ee! Let’s hope he brings through some special guests...
