The full line-up for our new & improved dance / house music area – the inaugural STUDIO S&C stage – is now live.

Join us at Studio S&C this year, for a 2-day feast of the finest sounds and selectors from across House & Techno – with a dose of Disco magic thrown into the mix.

Here’s a rundown of some of the biggest & best artists playing throughout the weekend…

Honey Dijon

Chicago-born DJ and producer Honey Dijon has become an icon and a household name in the  world of dance, house and electronic music. From entering the DJ scene in the 80s, to  dominating the industry in the past decade as not only a DJ but also a producer, Honey Dijon  will bring a vibe that you don’t want to miss. Effortlessly crossing the boundaries of genres and blending  sounds intuitively; creating versatile music for the clubs in New York, Berlin, Paris and  London; fusing the underground with the mainstream music scene; creating the soundtrack for  the Louis Vuitton runway – she has done it all.

As a native of the birthplace of house music, Honey has enjoyed the clubbing scene  from her teenage years – and started DJing at the age of 13, working her way up ever since. Her musical repertoire stems from hearing R&B and Soul at home, whilst being introduced to house music in the Chicago clubs. She has over the years blended R&B with old school Chicago House, disco, tech  house, funk and tribal – to give birth to the unique sound she is known for today.

She has worked as a producer and DJ with the likes of Lady Gaga, Cakes Da Killa, Hadiya, Derrick Carter, The  Martinez Brothers, Danny Tenaglia and Quentin Harris – creating a unique lane for herself, and the people to come after her in the industry, in the process.

Honey Dijon is known for setting stages ablaze around the world, and has worked the decks at massive venues such as London’s Ministry of Sound, Berghain’s Panorama Bar, and Stereo in Montreal. This summer, she will be gracing the Studio S&C stage – and we cannot wait.

Denis Sulta

One of Glasgow’s favourite sons, DJ and producer Denis Sulta has rapidly made quite a name for himself as house music’s next great sensation. From winning the Best of Britain ‘Best DJ’ award, to  securing a residency show on BBC Radio 1, the prodigal DJ has enjoyed great success over the  past few years. For his latest project, he joined forces with Ninja Tune for an epic new 8-track EP. He has also appeared on a number of projects with other huge artists and producers – such as Disclosure, Jackmaster and Leo Pol. Catch him at S&C bringing his unique brand of party-focussed, dancefloor-destroying, back-to-back bangers selecting – it’s going to be a proper #YearoftheParty moment.

Mall Grab

One of the most promising and fast-rising DJs and producers in the scene, our third headliner Mall Grab hails from Newcastle, Australia – but is currently based just down the road in London. He has created a lane of his own with his unique interpretation of  outsider house and electronic music. His diverse style ranges from melancholic dark sounds to  uptempo fun music, electrifying any crowd. Prepare for an unpredictable and entertaining journey through dance music to close out Sunday on the Studio S&C stage.

Archie Hamilton

Prolific DJ, producer and label-owner Archie Hamilton has built a very reputable presence for himself in the house scene. With his prodigious track record as a three-time record label owner – and his frequent appearances at prominent house venues such as FUSE, Privilege, London‘s fabric and Ibiza’s Amnesia, as well as tours across the globe – it is safe to say that Hamilton is one of the most sought after in the scene right now. Catch him playing S&C on Saturday 18th September.

Chaos in the CBD

The dynamic brothers from New Zealand, Chaos In The CBD broke out of the underground music scene with an undeniably phenomenal amalgamation of house, techno, jazz and disco. In 2011, they started touring in Europe and decided to leave Auckland permanently in order to stay better connected to their European audiences – moving to Peckham, South London. Their 2015 EP ‘Midnight in Peckham’ sold out in less than two weeks through Rhythm Section. In 2017, the duo set up their own label ‘In Dust We Trust’ alongside Jon Sable. These two are a class act that you don’t want to miss on the Studio S&C stage.

Jasper James

Another mega-talented DJ and producer from Glasgow, Jasper James has grafted his own-brand of off-kilter house and heads-down techno – with famous sets at some of the most renowned havens like Warehouse project, Smartbar, fabric and Sub Club. After his year-long residency at Phonox in London, Jasper moved up to #69 on the Resident Advisor Top 100 DJs. Amongst his incredible list of achieved milestones is being the youngest ever DJ to play at the Sub Club in Glasgow. Following his remarkable DJing success, he has done some incredible work in the studio with numerous releases such as ‘Crypto’ and his remix of Tiga’s ‘Eye Luv U’.  Don’t miss Jasper’s set at Studio S&C on Sunday 19th September.

ALISHA

Rising star, tech-house DJ and producer ALISHA has proudly put her home town Peterborough on the map – from playing gigs at her local clubs, to playing the biggest stages alongside her heroes like Green Velvet, Hot Since 82 and Steve Lawler. She’s also gained great recognition and accolades from influential people such as RuPaul; after posting a video of her playing ‘Now  Walk’ which samples his unmissable’ Put Some Bass In Your Walk’, the Drag Race icon co-signed her craft to the world. Aside from working the crowds with her sets, she’s mastered her craft as a producer – with two EPs under her belt. ALISHA’s talent has propelled her far beyond her small hometown onto platforms and stages all over the world.  We can’t wait to welcome the Cambridgshire for a homecoming set this September.

Moxie

Multi-talented DJ, record label owner, and promoter Moxie has crafted a a beautiful career for herself that has taken her all over the world. She started off her DJ career at Kiss FM, and later became a residency holder at BBC Radio 1 and NTS Radio – where she’s held the longest standing residencies till date, hosting house and dance icons such as Honey Dijon, Four Tet, and Jeff  Mills to name just a few. Whilst constantly being booked and busy, she has also founded her own music  label ‘On Loop’. Moxie is a phenomenal woman in music, both on and off the decks. Catch her on Sunday at S&C.

Eliza Rose

Weekly Rinse FM DJ and notorious vinyl collector Eliza Rose is nothing short of a breath of fresh air. Her exposure to music came when she was 15, and she did her work experience at Flashbacks Records, where her love for the art grew. She now holds a long standing residency at Balamii Radio with her ‘The Funk You Show’, which is all about the funkiest music. She also has a fascinating vinyl mix titled ‘It’s a London Thing’ which is a collection of some of the homegrown music she’s loved growing up – from the sounds of UK garage to house, from the early ‘90s, ‘00s and beyond. It is guaranteed that this DJ prodigy will bring the roof down during her set on the Studio S&C stage. Sunday, be there.

Isaac Carter

A young and ambitious talent, paving his own way as a DJ in the UK and abroad, Isaac Carter is one to have your eyes on. His refreshing and miscellaneous sound embodies old school Chicago house and Detroit techno, with some hints of UK flavours mixed in. He has previously secured a residency in Ibiza, and has had a longstanding residency at Rinse FM. This young promising talent is one to look forward to, repping the future generation of the genre. He plays Saturday at S&C.
