Join us 18-19th September as the finest selectors & sounds in Drum & Bass light up our Renegade Roulade stage.

Full line-up has dropped – featuring Wilkinson, Hybrid Minds, Dimension, Kanine, Break, Randall & many more.

Here’s a quick look at what to expect from some of the biggest names taking to the decks over the weekend… 🍓

Wilkinson

Producer, DJ, remixer and record label owner Wilkinson has become a household name in the drum & bass scene over the past decade. After his big break into the charts at number 8 with his 2013 hit record “Afterglow” – taken from his debut album ‘Lasers Not Included’ – the artist has become a force to reckon with.

Wilkinson was born and raised in Hammersmith, West London. His love for making music started when his parents bought him his own drum kit aged 9. After playing in multiple bands and performing in various places, he later found his love for dance music at the age of 14 – which led to him starting to make beats in his college studio, and eventually building a studio in his home.

In 2012 he released “Moonwalker”, for which he won the Best Breakthrough Producer award at the UK’s National DEB Awards. In 2017 the artist released his second studio album “Hypnotic” – with guest appearances from a host of big names including Wretch 32, Andreya Triana and Matt Wills to name a few. His latest 2020 album is a phenomenal joint album with producer Sub Focus and has done huge numbers on the charts since its release.

We can’t wait to welcome Wilkinson to headline the Renegade Roulade stage on September 18th. Not one to miss…

Hybrid Minds

Hybrid Minds is a phenomenal dance music duo from Buckinghamshire and Leeds – known for creating some wonderfully melodic, mesmerising drum and bass. The two started making music together in 2010 after meeting at a radio station when they were both working as DJs. Teaming up to work on becoming producers, they started to create the cinematic, electrifying and atmospheric sounds we hear from them today.

They’ve carved out a lane of their own within liquid drum and bass, in which they they combine innovative exquisite vocal melodies with high octane productions. Since 2012, the two have released multiple EPs and three studio albums. Hybrid Minds have sold out prestigious stages such as the London’s Printworks – which hosts 4000 people – during their 2020 headline tour. They are planning to take over stages around the world such as an Ibiza Residency, and of course festival appearances – including S&C on Sunday 19th September.

Dimension

Arguably, Dimension is one of the most unique and technically proficient musicians in the scene. The London based DJ and producer has enjoyed amazing success as new trail blazer in the drum & bass genre – from four-time BBC Radio 1 ‘Hottest Record in the World’ holder, to a sold out UK headline tour including massive stages such as Fabric and Concorde 2.

The artist is also signed to MTA Records and RAM Records. His latest 2021 album Organ has already done great numbers in streams and charts – with the first track ‘Saviour’, which was released in summer 2020, being Tune of the Week on BBC Radio 1. This banger landed him the coveted cover star spot for Spotify’s New Dance Revolution playlist.

Dimension is the first D&B DJ to create a multi-sensory dance music experience, with recent shows featuring a showpiece glass mechanical structure – including lasers, a 50-piece light system, and the largest LED screen ever to be installed in a venue. In this way, Dimension is constantly curating new ways to increase the footprint of drum and bass in the music industry – and the intense excitement of his live shows. Expect plenty of energy at his S&C Festival set this year…

Kanine

Kanine is a young DJ and producer from London who emerged into the limelight in 2016. The artist is widely recognised for popularising the new wave of ‘jump-up’ drum & bass productions into mainstream music. At his young age, he is already one of the most versatile producers in the 175 BPM range.

With hits like ‘Your Love’, ‘Want You’ and ‘Point Em Up’, Kanine has made himself a prominent figure in drum and bass. Get ready for a high-energy, high-power journey through beats & bass when he hits the S&C Stage in September.

Randall

D&B and Jungle DJ/producer Randall is a pioneering force in electronic music in London. He’s been an epicentral figure in the movement since 1989’s legendary ‘Summer of Love’, a proper experienced rave curator and veteran in the scene.

He is also a world-class DJ who has helped to lead the ever-changing, unfolding nature of electronic music into different genres – from acid house, to hardcore techno, to jungle, becoming one of the first DJs to establish the jungle sound. This is one for the D&B heads to enjoy.

Break

Talented, young and forward-thinking artist Break got his influences early in life with his love for jazz and funk records. After picking up piano and drums at a young age, he went on to tackling the turntables at the tender age of fourteen. Today he’s a prominent figure in the drum & bass world, and a sought after remixer for commercial artists – with the likes of Rita Ora, Bloc Party, Miss Dynamite and Sigma all previous collaborators.

Turno

Award-winning DJ and producer Turno is nothing less of a breath of fresh air. His energetic sets have propelled him onto mega stages including Rampage, Laundry Day, Westfest and Forbidden Forest. He has also worked with a plethora of artists – including including P Money, Scrufizzer, Dominator, Logan D, Stormin, Trigga, Spyda, Dreps, Skiba & Shabba to name just a few. His first ever LP ‘Power’ won the best album at the National DNB Awards in 2018.

The Sauce

DLR, Spinback (Total Science) and Hydro – aka The Sauce – are an iconic super-trio from Bristol, who ooze a fun, cheeky and energetic sound. They each bring their own flavour to their take on D&B, and bring their own taste to their DJ sets. Together, they own their own music label: the Sauce Records. Expect a fantastic festival performance from the boys from Bristol, who are guaranteed to bring the perfect summer D&B vibes to the Renegade Roulade.

Cardinal Sound

Cardinal Sound is a not only a prodigious DJ, but also a long-time radio broadcaster on Reprezent Radio – as well as part of the S&C team, programming the electronic music stages. In a full circle moment, he will be turning the decks on the S&C Renegade Roulade stage in September, after releasing an acclaimed EP ‘Focal Point’ in July.

His ambition and love for drum and bass have led him to make big moves in the scene – one of which is the launch of his own label, Archway Records, in 2020. This passion project has turned into a prolific release machine, aiming to further the drum and bass movement and help establish up-and-coming artists. This summer, he’s planning to take the stages by storm – including S&C in September – and work on new projects.
